Development

Over the last 10 years T&B have overseen the conversion of properties to provide residential units. These conversions have varied between residential homes into Co-Living homes and Commercial buildings into flats. 

The strategy for the next 5 to 10 years is to convert commercial properties into residential units for our young adults. The properties will be designed to meet the needs of this sector.

Case study

A residential 3 storey town house was refurbished and converted to a 4 bed house of multiple occupancy providing ensuite accommodation to every room.  The communal areas were upgraded to provide spacious living areas. Since the property was converted the rooms have always been in demand.

This project is one of 8 residential conversions undertaken by T&B.

Case study

A victorian office building with  offices and showrooms was converted into 2 units comprising a 2 bed cottage with courtyard and 6 single bed flats providing modern accommodation in a busy town. 

The project had planning for studio flats but after market research in the area it was felt that less units of a larger size would provide a better solution in the community.
